根据《第一财经日报》的报道,此番陈彤加盟小米,得益于小米八位创始人之一的王川,“是他(王川)把我带进互联网殿堂,1997年年初带我拨号上了网,打开的第一个网站就是四通利方(新浪前身)。”陈彤称,“现在他叫我回来也义不容辞。”因为这份感谢,在新浪工作17年的陈彤成了小米的一员。
