Job Hunting Season Comes!

Now the job-hunting-season is around the corner. A number of enterprises have started campus recruitment.

The latest Recruitment Insider Survey by RMG selection shows that:

  1. Campus recruitment accounts for more than 20 percent of the whole year’s recruitment in nearly half of companies. Only 6 percent of firms do not have a campus recruitment plan.
  2. 8.2 percent of companies did not hire new talents in first quarter.
  3. State-owned enterprises rank as the top talent-in-need companies, and almost all of them introduced new talents in the first quarter. While joint ventures get the lowest hiring rate, only around 81 percent of them had new positions in the first quarter.
  4. Machinery, IT and law sectors are on the top list of new recruitments, while the manufacturing industry is at the bottom, accounting for 78 percent of new recruitments.

The survey is completed after interviewing a number of companies’ HR departments and employers. So, in their points of view, what are the dos and don’t for the students during campus interviews? What are the skills HR values most?
