PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Provide leadership and direction to manufacture site EHS management system and improvement.
§ Promote and develop best practices to be implemented amongst sites.
§ Educate local personnel in EHS policies and programs.
§ Understand and interpret local EHS laws and regulations.
§ Manage the process of identifying on-going and future environmental, health, and safety needs, and develops action plans to meet those needs.
§ Provides support to help business growing with professional advice on EHS risk control.
§ Create and lead teams to support corporate and local EHS objectives and targets and make continuous improvement.
§ Develop and control annual budgets for EHS activity, training, and relevant programs.

External Qualifications* : WORK EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

§ Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
§ Typical 8+year relevant experiences in multi-national manufacturing environment. International EHS management experience is preferred. Be familiar with ISO14001, OSHA standard, radiation safety management and radiation regulations.
§ Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written on EHS gaps; and can make effective presentations of training and findings.
§ Must be able to lead by influence, collaborate across business units, and up and down the organizational hierarchy.
§ Radiation officer, ISO14001 internal auditor qualification and certified Safety Engineer and other professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or country equivalent).
§ Self-motivated and independent working spirit and be flexible in response to challengeable places.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

§ Excellent verbal & written Chinese and English.
