Role Description:

The tasks and responsibilities of this role include:

The purpose of this position is mainly to develop and grow the business of the company in China, whilst looking after the existing national main accounts the candidate will also be responsible for the development of new business especially in areas where we are not adequately covered liaising directly with the MD and Marketing department is expected to provide advice and support in order to define the outline of the strategy for the future growth in China

 

       Person Description:   

  • To promote the development of sales and customer base in China as well as the achievement of the sales and profitability targets enlarging and consolidating the key customer’s base. Working in coordination with the Sales and Mkt manager to set up the future strategy and the action plans to successfully penetrate the market in China.

 

  • Proactively seeking new customers in particular domestic OEs and in Areas where currently the business needs further development. Maintaining and improving the relationship with the international OE manufacturers.

 

  • Providing continuous information about the competitive environment to the Sales and Marketing Manager (distribution and service models, pricing structure, strength points and weakness) as well as constantly advising on the tactical guidelines.

 

  • Working in conjunction with the regional Salesmen and the marketing manager to refine strategies on the base of the information provided.

 

  • Cooperating with the Sales and Marketing mgr to identify and visit key end users organisation such as cooperatives, state owned farms, mega farms in order to promote our products.

 

  • To provide and monitor the product performance and the customers satisfaction in conjunction with the technical field manager.

 

Person Description:

  • Degree in economics, MBA appreciated.

 

  • Conversant with Mandarin Chinese/English. Good knowledge of MS Office software , social media and web based tools.

 

  • 3-5 years of solid and successful experience in sales and/or business development, gained ideally within a multinational company with strong presence in China in the industrial or agricultural tire/machinery industry, a person able to work independently with impeccable and proved professional integrity, keen to prove his ability in a challenging and fast growing environment.
